The staff of the Perryton-Ochiltree Chamber of Commerce consists of the Chamber President; Office Manager and Director of Tourism; and the part-time Chamber secretary.  The staff is responsible for the daily operations of the Chamber.  The Chamber is dedicated to improving the quality of life and economy of Perryton and Ochiltree County through community involvement.

The Chamber of Commerce is headed by Marilyn Reiswig, Chamber President. Marilyn Reiswig The purpose of the Chamber of Commerce is to stimulate, improve and expand business for continued growth and development of the local economy and to assure a favorable business climate for the City of Perryton and Ochiltree County.  This office works closely with the Perryton Community Development Corporation.




Marilyn ReiswigThe Office of Tourism is headed by Cyndi Bollinger, Director of Tourism and Office Manager.  The purpose of the Office of Tourism is to bring outside dollars to Perryton and Ochiltree County.  Perryton has many amenities to offer tourists and business travelers and our objective is to market these amenities to visitors and local citizens.  The Department of Tourism works with local clubs and civic organizations in securing over-night visitors, conventions and meetings in Perryton.  By encouraging visitors to stay over night in Perryton, many dollars are spent in our motels, restaurants, retail stores and many service businesses are utilized.  The Tourism Department focuses on  services such as hospitality bags, mail outs and numerous other services that can be beneficial to the host organization or the visitors themselves.

The Tourism Department finds itself extremely busy throughout the year fielding questions concerning local events.  In 2006 the Chamber has distributed over 8,000 Dining & Lodging Brochures, Wolf Creek Park & Lake Fryer Brochures, Perryton/Ochiltree Maps and Panhandle Plains Wildlife Trail Maps.  There have also been over 700 walk-ins regarding the Tourism Division.  Telephone and e-mail requests for information are estimated at over 100 calls each month from recreational visitors and business visitors.
